Japanese umbrella pines are unique, rare, and difficult to propagate. ‘Ossorio Gold’ is a tight conical Japanese umbrella pine that has a more yellow-green cultivar that becomes more yellow during the fall and winter. ‘Ossorio Gold’ may reach 6 ft in height by 3 ft in width in 10 years. ‘Ossorio Gold’ was a chance seedling that was found on the Alfonso Ossorio Estate and introduced by our friend Robert Fincham of Coenosium Gardens.
