Description
The elegant, slender stems of this Japanese Pussy Willow are decorated with the softest, velvety slivery-pink catkins in early to late spring. They are a delight to the senses and utterly irresistible to touch if planted in reach, near a path or driveway. Tolerant of most soil types and locations, even large patio containers, they are easy to grow, even in the smallest of garden spaces, courtyard gardens or balconies. Salix Mount Aso can easily be pruned occasionally to maintain their shape and provide beautiful stems to add to spring cut flower displays.
