Description
Prized, South African perennials for the well-drained rock garden or for containers, with small clumps of slightly hairy, grassy leaves that appear in late spring, quickly followed by simple, six-petalled flowers — deep, hot pink and abundant in this cultivar — on individual 3-4″ stems. Full sun with occasional summer water and well-drained soil to protect from winter wet or life in a container that can be moved to a dry location. Frost hardy to at least 0F, USDA zone 7.
