Pinusparviflora ‘Blue Giant’ is perhaps one of the most blue Japanese white pines. Unlike the name suggests, ‘Blue Giant’ gets about 6 ft in height in 10 years with a nice pyramidal shape. One of the most striking features of the blue needles is their length. The needles are some of the largest of any of the Japanese white pine selections. ‘Blue Giant’ doesn’t require a lot of space but will definitely impact your garden with year round color.
