Cornus kousa ‘Gold Star is a uniquely variegated Chinese dogwood that has a splash of creamy white in the middle of the green leaf. This gives ‘Gold Star’ the appearance of year round flowers from a distance. White flowers cover ‘Gold Star’ in mid to late spring. ‘Fall color on ‘Gold Star is a orange to red. ‘Gold Star’ will reach 12-15 ft in 10 years.
