‘Emerald Knight’ blooms out with large white blooms that cover this tree, making it look like a big white cloud in the garden. As the tree leaves out, emerald green leaves begin to take over the tree. ‘Emerald Knight’ has a great upright pyramidal shape.

‘Emerald Knight’ was selected by Brian Upchurch for having a great form, beautiful flowers and no fruit. This Chionanthus virginicus is a grafted male selection of ‘Grancy Greybeard’ that is fairly clean in the landscape and garden.

‘Emerald Knight’ may reach up to 15 ft in 10 years.
