Cercis ‘Zig Zag’ is a special and unique redbud. The branches zig and zag a unique habit that is special to this selection. In the early spring, ‘Zig Zag’ has bright pink-red blooms that cover the branches. After the blossoms, green heart shaped leaves emerge. This really accentuates the zig and zagging of the habit of this redbud. ‘Zig Zag’ may reach 12-15 ft in height in 10 years.
