Clear Creek’ is a hybrid of Rhododendron austrinum with an Exbury azalea type by Dr. Aromi of Mobile, Alabama. ‘Clear Creek’ has nice large trusses of yellow blooms with a white throat and pink stamens. The base of the yet-to-bloom bloom trusses are a pink turning to yellow toward the top. This creates beautiful color combo that puts on a show in the garden. ‘Clear Creek’ may reach 6 ft in height by 4 ft in width in 10 years. Give ‘Clear Creek’ plenty of organic matter and good drainage for best growth.
