‘Arneson Gem’ is a compact selection of a deciduous azalea with bright golden yellow blooms that have reddish-orange highlights throughout the bloom. New flower buds emerge with bright orange-red color adding to the show. Arneson Gem is a heavy bloomer having up to 12 flowers in each bloom truss. This visual and fragrant display continues from May through June. These 1.5 inch individual blooms attract lots of butterflies and are great pollinators. Arneson Gemwas introduced by expert azalea hybridizers Robertha and Ivan Arneson.
