‘Verna Jean’ is a small narrow growing selection of Japanese maple that reaches 5-6 ft in height by 3-4 ft in width in 10 years. This selection by Verna Jean Nursery is quite rare and fits in a lot of small spaces. Spring color is a cherry red in the spring, maroon throughout a big part of the summer, and a bright fiery red in the fall.
